Laissez les bons temps rouler!! Mardi Gras officially ends tomorrow with Shrove Tuesday! I had to celebrate Mardi Gras on my nails with this dotticure that I quickly whipped up and wore last week. I went to Mardi Gras in 2011 and I have such fond memories of NOLA, its culture, and the people. I can't wait to go back!

I was wearing Stella Chroma As Confused as Nigel and decided it was the perfect base for a Mardi Gras manicure. This is her March Polish Pickup color and I'll be back at the end of the week with a full post on it. Green, purple, and gold are the traditional Mardi Gras colors, so of course I went with that!

I used Girly Bits My Peony has a First Name and Irish I were Beer are my dot colors. I also used a glittery purple Girly Bits, but I forgot to write it down because I didn't think it showed up that well. You can definitely see it more in photos!

I decided to matte the look and the different textures of polishes are really beautiful together. I love doing dotticures because they are so quick and easy. I had a festive look in under 15 minutes!
