The arrival of new cosmetics into my house is always exciting! It doesn't matter if its through work, sent for review, paid for or simply donated - I can never wait to get my hands on them!
Because I get sent so much of it - new things take the place of old things a lot here! I rarely finish cosmetics. While I am making a special effort to fix that at the moment - because the room is now littered with new products and there is no space for anything!
I have managed to find three new products which I am currently loving...
Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel - This is amazing. In fact, its so amazing that I have just run out of it! The reason I love this gel instead of using a cream is that I find the creams so light and easy to use. It just sinks into the skin and doesn't weigh it down like normal creams. In fact, the formula is oil free which is one of the things I have always hated about regular creams - the sticky overly oily texture. This is perfect. Also, you can pop your primer/foundation on top of it almost straight away!
Dr Hauschka Neck and Decollete Cream - This is a new one for me! I wasn't sure that what to think of it but I've been using it for a few days now and it does make a difference. I'm always interested in new products and this was something I had never used before - even as a brand, I have never used Dr Hauschka - but it appears to be working!
MAC Volcanic Ash Exfoliator - This is amazing. I finally got to play around with this at the weekend and it was just, well, amazing! Use with lots of water and be prepared for it to make a mess but it was just wonderful. It sorted the pores on my nose out completely. I didn't use on my cheeks since I have bad dry skin there at the moment but this cleared out the pores on my nose. I would love to see it being used frequently on someone with skin like mine because I reckon it would make a huge difference. Any flaky skin I had was gone as well which is what I look for in an exfoliator. I don't need to exfoliate as much as I used to but still, I think this could be used once a week. I am planning on investing in a tube of this paycheck!
