Miley Cyrus said being committed and wearing her engagement ring from Liam Hemsworth ‘seems right.'

Miley Cyrus says wearing the engagement ring she got from fiancé Liam Hemsworth is something that "seems right" to her, though she doesn't publicly comment on the status of their relationship anymore.

The 20-year-old singer opened up to ELLE UK about her private life and love in the magazine's latest issue, on news stands May 1.

"We have a house together and dogs," Cyrus says about her and Hemsworth, 23. "It just seems right to be wearing this ring and to be committed. But we keep our relationship low-key and don't talk about it anymore."

Cyrus has been engaged to the "Hunger Games" actor since June 2012. Amidst rumors of the couple hitting a rough patch in their relationship earlier this year, the wedding - initially reported to take place this summer - was put on hold.

Even her dad, country star Billy Ray Cyrus, said he doesn't know when the nuptials will be exchanged.

"I didn't know the answer," he said in an interview on "Nightline" earlier this month. "I play it by ear, I know whatever's meant to be that's the way it's going to happen."

Miley Cyrus, a social media maven, has also dialed back from engaging with fans since her romance seemed to go sour.

"We were too nice to the world and gave them too much insight - into my life and my puppies and my house - and I just don't feel they get that privilege anymore," she said.

"You don't get that personal stuff anymore."
