My dear friends and colleagues, Jun Ramos and Jorge Ramos invited me to a very special Winter Solstice Event at Ginger62 on Granville Street @ Davie.
Host Nader Navabi, Founder/ Partner of 'Press Play Establishment'.
Mr.Navabi was so kind to show us around his fortress of a night club he rented. There was another private function to be held in the back.
We asked what exactly did this function represent?
'basically in the Persian calender we celebrate the 21st of December as its longest night of the year'
So A party was in order. Nader and his team organized a 'black tie' event complete with a live band and DJ sets all evening.
What a great evening. I met so many kind friends, many of which were participants of Nader Navabi's crew! All so gorgeous women, and real cool men.
