Richard Simmons joins Diana Nyad for her 48 hour swim in Herald Square

NYC 10-9-13: Fresh off her record-breaking swim from Cuba to Florida, long-distance swim legend Diana Nyad holds a 48-hour continuous " Swim for Relief ” to support Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts. The swim raises funds for AmeriCares, a nonprofit global health and disaster relief organization that delivers medicines, medical supplies and aid to people in need around the world and across the United States.
