Suicidal MAFS star Tracey Jewel reveals her 'brutal' battle with trolls

She spoke candidly about her debilitating battle with mental illness during Channel Seven's Sunday Night program over the weekend.

And on Monday, Married At First Sight's Tracey Jewel revealed even more troubling details about her battle with anxiety.

Taking to Instagram, the 37-year-old single mother thanked fans for their support before reflecting upon her 'incredibly difficult' life in the public eye.

'It's been incredibly difficult navigating life post MAFS,' she said in a video clip while fighting back tears.

'I've remained tight lipped about people coming out of the woodwork for a cash grab or a cheap shot at me post-MAFS.

'An ongoing court case with a ex-boyfriend, and a stalker who has harassed not only me but any people or business that has associated with me for the past year... it's been f**king brutal.

'I never experienced anxiety before the show and now it's something I wrestle with constantly. Some days I don't notice it at all. Some days I struggle to leave the house or even bed.'

Tracey then described how negative feedback and bullying has caused her to doubt her own sense of self-worth.

'Even though it's only a small group of people branding me a liar, a fraud and a failure, a part of me has believed it. This deep core belief that I must be flawed, damaged, not enough,' she added.

'Maybe it's from being adopted or rejected, who knows. But every time I hear these words it shakes me to my core and the anxiety is unbearable.'

'And living all of this out, warts and all, and trying to navigate as best as I can in the pubic eye has been the toughest year of my life,' she continued.

Tracey concluded by saying that 'speaking up for herself', acknowledging her faults and 'finding resilience' has helped her to find the light in dark times.

'I look forward to resolving a few things still lurking about from my past and moving forward to brighter days with my partner, daughter, family and friends and new ventures,' she said.

'I hope brighter days for those struggling with anxiety in their own lives too.'

The post comes after Tracey resigned as a director and shareholder of wellness studio 360 Hit within days of the company's launch.

In an interview with Daily Mail Australia last month, the reality star claimed that she was feeling 'suicidal' and unable to work.

'Because of my mental health, I'm not doing very well and didn't want to breach duty of care and director duties,' she said at the time.

On Monday, Tracey also spoke to New Idea about her 'stalking' nightmare, claiming that police had stepped in after a woman harassed her with phone calls.

She said: 'Just last weekend I had to go to the police because this lady kept calling me and harassing me. It still goes on to this day. Just because I did a reality show doesn't mean I deserve this. It keeps happening in my life.'

According to Tracey, police contacted the woman and 'gave her a warning', but she has not been charged with any crime.

'The reason she kept calling me was because she lost her parents to cancer last year, and that's her reason. She was taking her hurt and upset out on me,' Tracey said.

Meanwhile, Tracey is preparing for a means inquiry at Perth Magistrates Court on August 30, where it will be determined if she has the capacity to pay a $34,000 debt she owes her ex-boyfriend, Patrick Kedemos.
